Forget Me Not Designs is a husband-and-wife creative duo, founded by Karen in 2021. What began as a small venture making custom signs and T-shirts soon grew into a full-scale woodworking business, crafting handmade wooden signs from scratch. We’re proud locals of Macclesfield, North Carolina, and every piece we make is built right here in our small town, with the kind of care and attention you only get from neighbors who know your name.

 

The inspiration for Forget Me Not Designs came from Karen’s mother, who was diagnosed with dementia. Determined to create lasting keepsakes, Karen began designing memorable signs and home décor pieces that families could cherish for years to come. Each creation is made with the hope of preserving special moments and meaningful connections.

 

As the business flourished, Karen’s husband, Carl, joined full-time. While Karen remains fully capable of producing the signs herself, Carl now hand-cuts and constructs most of the pieces, bringing precision and craftsmanship to every project. Together, they blend artistry, skill, and heart to create one-of-a-kind designs that leave a lasting impression.​
